The TJC Global “Linguist-Specialist” Standard

TJC Global operates differently from traditional translation agencies. We do not hire generalists. Since 1985, our reputation has been built on providing multinational clients with experts who possess dual fluency: absolute mastery of the target language, paired with profound subject-matter expertise in highly technical fields.

Minimum Recruitment Requirements

We supply linguists for life-critical clinical trials, multi-million dollar international arbitrations, and complex aerospace engineering symposiums. As such, our recruitment process is exceptionally rigorous. To be considered for the TJC Global network, applicants must demonstrate:

• Native-Level Fluency: Absolute mastery of the target language(s).
• Advanced Education: A Master’s Degree or equivalent higher-education qualification in your specialized field (e.g., Law, Mechanical Engineering, Life Sciences, Finance).
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 to 10 years of documented professional experience working directly within your specialized industry, or as a dedicated technical linguist.
• Certifications: Active membership in recognized professional bodies (such as the ITI, CIOL, or ATA) is highly advantageous.
